Discovering the Area

Get ready for an adventure where nature creates unforgettable moments. Interestingly, the word "vacation" has roots in the Adirondacks. For more than a century, people have sought refuge in this region during the summer, trading the sweltering heat of the city for the refreshing mountain air. They would "vacate" the city, and this escape became known as a "vacation."

Lake Adventures

The pristine waters of the lake offer a world of possibilities for every kind of adventurer. Whether you prefer leisurely paddling, the thrill of wakeboarding, waterskiing, or surfing, or the serenity of fishing, there’s something for everyone—even ice skating in the winter. As our guest, you'll have full access to our collection of non-motorized boats, including a canoe, two kayaks, and two paddleboards. Boating opportunities on our property are available from May 1st to October 31st, depending on water temperature for safety. We also offer a tritoon boat for rent—a 22-foot Bennington with a 115 hp Yamaha engine, available for weekly rentals.

For those looking for additional non-motorized boat rentals, Racquette River Outfitters, located just a few miles away at 1754 State Rt 30, can meet your needs. If you’re interested in a small motorized boat, there are nearby options, and for larger motorized boats, Saranac Lake Marina offers delivery and pickup services for a round-trip fee. Our property is close to a public boat launch, and our spacious dock provides overnight docking. Additionally, we’re pleased to offer fishing gear for our renters to use.
